Compare programmes with similar purposes, then inspect their stages and requirements. Similar content does not mean the tests have the same difficulty or that one qualification transfers to another country.

Follow source links to check the original context. Where saved documents are available, you can read them here. Documents keep their dates; translations may be working translations rather than official wording.

This is a growing collection, not every requirement from every country. Missing results can mean missing or untranslated evidence, not that a skill is absent from a country’s programme. Read the coverage notes before drawing conclusions.

JUDGES MANAGEMENT SUBCOMMITTEE GUIDELINES SINGLES TEST JUDGES Effective Jan. 1, 2024 V2 10/4/24 Singles Test Judge Trial Judge Tracks Trial judges are not required to have a skating background; however, trial judges who have passed a minimum level of test, achieved certain competitive accomplishments and/or earned a coaching accreditation will qualify for a “fast track” at the accelerated or advanced level. Track Advanced Track Accelerated Track Standard Track Skating or Coaching Requirements Have competed in a novice, junior or senior singles or pairs event at one of the following competitions: • Sectional singles final • U.S. Pairs Final • Sectional figure skating championships Or Have competed in a junior or senior singles event at the U.S. Collegiate Figure Skating Championships. Or Have competed in a championship masters singles or championship pairs event at a U.S. Adult Figure Skating Championships. Or Have earned a coach accreditation at the senior or masters level for singles or pairs Or Have the equivalent competitive experience with another ISU member federation. Have passed, at minimum, one of the following tests: • Silver singles • Silver pairs • Adult gold singles • Adult gold pairs Or Have earned a coach accreditation at level 1 or level 2 for singles or pairs None Trial judges may trial any test regardless of the track in which they are registered. Those already named to the accelerated or advanced track based on previous criteria will remain in those tracks. Those previously named to the select track will be in the advanced track. Trial judges who pass higher-level tests, earn a higher-level coach accreditation and/or who compete for the first time in one of the required competition events after beginning to trial judge may apply for promotion to a higher track here: https://fs12.formsite.com/USFSAIT/TJPromotion/index
