ISA Communication 187 - ISA AFSC 2026 Qualification Scores UPDATED Page 1 of 3 ISA AFSC 2026 Qualification Scores Singles and Pair Skating UPDATED (This communication replaces ISA Communication 181) Date Approved: June 2026 Effective Start Date: 1 July 2026 ___________________________________________________________________________________ 1. Purpose of the Communication Following the publication of ISA Communication 181 – AFSC 2026 Qualification Scores (Singles and Pair Skating), ISA has completed a review of the qualifying Total Elements Scores (TES) for AFSC 2026. In accordance with the note contained in ISA Communication 181, which advised that qualifying scores may be amended following future ISU Communications relating to seasonal elements, Scale of Values (SOV) or technical element rule changes for the 2026/2027 season, revised qualification scores have been approved and will take effect from 1 July 2026. This Communication advises the qualifying Total Elements Score(s) (TES) required for the Australian Figure Skating Championships 2026 (AFSC), outlines the reserve selection process, and clarifies ISA Member requirements for submitting nominations and reserve lists. 2. Application of the Communication All prospective AFSC participants/teams must achieve the required minimum Total Elements Score(s) as specified in this Communication for their respective category in order to be nominated by their ISA Member for AFSC 2026. The revised qualification scores contained in Table B are effective from 1 July 2026 and apply to all qualifying scores earned on or after that date. The minimum TES may be achieved at Champ Series events, ISA Member Championships, international events, or any event whereby the judging panel and technical panel include a minimum of one (1) nationally qualified judge and one (1) nationally qualified technical specialist or technical controller for the discipline and category.
