Les bénévoles de compétition Le terme bénévole de compétition est le terme générique désignant les personnes qui participent à l’activité du monde sportif et qui assument des fonctions indispensables à l’encadrement et à l’organisation de ces manifestations sportives pour le compte des clubs ou des organisateurs. Ces bénévoles, obligatoirement licenciés, sont soumis au contrôle automatisé d’honorabilité (en application de l’Article L212-9 du Code du sport et de la Loi n°2021-1109 du 24 août 2021 confortant le respect des principes de la République) et sont placés, dans l’exercice de leurs tâches, sous l’autorité directe de l’arbitre.
