La distribution des trois est libre, mais la sortie après le deuxième trois doit être bien visible sur un pied. Effectuer ensuite un trois avant extérieur: le patineur amorce le pivot en posant le pied libre en arrière extérieur. Après avoir piqué la pointe du pied libre dans la glace au centre du cercle, le pivot doit être maintenu pendant encore au moins un cercle entier.
