Start with a country, a beginner programme or an element. Open a level to read its collected requirements. Expand programme stages to see the exercises inside.

Compare programmes with similar purposes, then inspect their stages and requirements. Similar content does not mean the tests have the same difficulty or that one qualification transfers to another country.

Follow source links to check the original context. Where saved documents are available, you can read them here. Documents keep their dates; translations may be working translations rather than official wording.

This is a growing collection, not every requirement from every country. Missing results can mean missing or untranslated evidence, not that a skill is absent from a country’s programme. Read the coverage notes before drawing conclusions.

Skate Canada Virtual Assessments – Section Reference Guide August 2024 Copyright © 2024 Skate Canada 18 Standardized Practices for Virtual Assessment Days The following must remain true for virtual assessments: - All assessments are done in a ‘live’ format – extenuating circumstances may allow for a modified delivery (see the Service Technician Reference Guide for further information) - Assessment sheets, schedule and planned program sheets must be delivered to evaluator 48 hours before the virtual assessment day. - A technology check must be completed successfully before going ahead with a virtual assessment day (exceptions apply with extenuating circumstances). As clubs and skating schools become familiar with virtual assessments, the need for technology checks will decrease, but only if the same location, individuals and devices are used. - Virtual Assessment sessions can be a maximum of 3 hours. Virtual assessment days that require more than 3 hours must be divided into multiple sessions. Sections may choose to shorten this time limit. - The service technician must be on the call during the assessment day to support any technical issues that arise. - Assessment sheets delivered back to club/skating school must be: o In PDF form: All separated (not all in one PDF unless for the same skater) o Must include front and back of each skater’s assessment sheet. o Delivered within 48 hours following virtual assessment day. Additional Recommendations - The same service technician assigned to the technology check and virtual assessment day of a club or skating school. - Assignment of the virtual evaluators is managed by the section. - Requests to evaluators for virtual assessment days be made at least two weeks in advance of the assessment day. - Sections may be responsible for providing the evaluator’s Skate Canada number to the assessment coordinator preparing the assessment sheets or submitting the results. - Assessments may be pulled at no charge to the skater, up until 24 hours before the virtual assessment day. Skate Canada and/or sections will support the planning of virtual assessment days and answer any questions received from stakeholders (clubs/skating schools, service technicians, evaluators, etc.).
