How to use this

Start with a country, a beginner programme or an element. Open a level to read its collected requirements. Expand programme stages to see the exercises inside.

Try double Axel or three turn in the search box. Results show available definitions and matching evidence; not every question can be answered from the collection.

Compare programmes with similar purposes, then inspect their stages and requirements. Similar content does not mean the tests have the same difficulty or that one qualification transfers to another country.

Follow source links to check the original context. Where saved documents are available, you can read them here. Documents keep their dates; translations may be working translations rather than official wording.

This is a growing collection, not every requirement from every country. Missing results can mean missing or untranslated evidence, not that a skill is absent from a country’s programme. Read the coverage notes before drawing conclusions.

Skate Canada Virtual Assessments – Evaluator Reference Guide August 2024 Copyright © 2024 Skate Canada 13 Preparation Evaluators are required to complete the following before each virtual assessment day: Personal Technology Check Evaluators must verify that their equipment is working adequately prior to the virtual assessment day. This includes the following: • Ensure a strong and stable internet connection to minimize any potential issues during the live assessment day. Strategies include: o Disable any downloads, uploads, automatic updates to free up bandwidth (Netflix and Alexa are big culprits!) o Connect using an ethernet cable, if possible o Place the computer as close to the wi-fi router as possible. o Disconnect additional devices not being used and quit computer applications that are not required: Issues with internet stability rarely originate with the service provider. They are generally a result of too many devices competing with each other on the user’s wi-fi. • Ensure the meeting platform being used is up to date. o Perform any necessary updates. This can be done by uninstalling and re-installing the application. • Test equipment: Ensure all devices being used, including the camera and mic, are working properly. It is recommended that you download the free application for the platform that you will be using (i.e., Microsoft Teams, Zoom) rather than use the web browser version. o Microsoft Teams: Users can test from within the application. Click on the avatar or user symbol (orange circle). Select “Settings”, “Devices” and then “Make a test call”. o Zoom: Users can test online at https://zoom.us/test. From this screen select “join” and you should see yourself appear in a meeting window. Note: Evaluators encountering issues should contact the assigned service technician for assistance.
