Start with a country, a beginner programme or an element. Open a level to read its collected requirements. Expand programme stages to see the exercises inside.

Compare programmes with similar purposes, then inspect their stages and requirements. Similar content does not mean the tests have the same difficulty or that one qualification transfers to another country.

Follow source links to check the original context. Where saved documents are available, you can read them here. Documents keep their dates; translations may be working translations rather than official wording.

This is a growing collection, not every requirement from every country. Missing results can mean missing or untranslated evidence, not that a skill is absent from a country’s programme. Read the coverage notes before drawing conclusions.

Skate Canada Virtual Assessments – Section Reference Guide August 2024 Copyright © 2024 Skate Canada 11 Technology Check A technology check or “tech check” must be scheduled and successfully completed with the club or skating school prior to the virtual assessment day. This technology check is to test for network quality, connectivity and stability. It will also test the device(s) to be used and the meeting platform. Videographers will be trained on filming strategies and other pertinent information regarding the virtual assessment day will be reviewed. The technology check will include: - Confirmation of platform functionality - Confirmation of audio/video connectivity - Confirmation of roles - A review of filming strategies - A process review of the virtual assessment day - A review of items to be completed post assessment day. Further detail to the process of the technology check and troubleshooting strategies is outlined in the Service Technician Reference Guide. Sections and service technicians may also choose to use the Tech Check Checklist and Completion Form as a tool to track or share information with other key individuals involved with the delivery of virtual assessment days. Following a successful technology check, a link to the online meeting platform for the day of the virtual assessment must be sent to all participants. Who sends the link will vary across sections. Optional Technology Check Scenarios As clubs and skating schools become familiar with virtual assessments, the need for technology checks may decrease. Clubs and skating schools familiar with virtual assessments may skip the required technology check if all of the following conditions are met: - Successfully held a virtual assessment day in the past. - The virtual assessment day includes the same individuals as a previous virtual assessment day (e.g., assessment coordinator, videographer). - The device(s) used is the same as a previous virtual assessment day. - The virtual assessment day is held in the same rink as a previous virtual assessment day.
