Grade 3: 2026 badge-test tables and transition notices
Version boundary: required elements change on 1 October 2026. Free-skating requirements apply from 1 July 2026, with specific transition provisions. Earlier collected requirements elsewhere on this page must not be treated as a fully updated 2026 syllabus.
Read the grade-3 row in both the required-elements and free-skating tables. The bracket-step task moves to grade 4 from 1 October 2026. The September notice governs candidates with outstanding tasks; it is not a blanket exemption from the whole grade.

Jump combination, at least double + single. The double may be the same type as the separate double jump.
Camel spin, at least five revolutions.
Flying spin, at least five revolutions; position and landing foot are optional.
Spin combination without change of foot, at least six revolutions, including camel and sit positions with at least two revolutions in each.
Set pattern: backward change-edge half-circle; starting foot drawn.
Set pattern: forward one-foot snaking; starting foot drawn.
Set pattern: backward one-foot snaking, on the opposite foot from the forward task.

Working English, not independently reviewed: the 19 July notice says badge-test step sequences at every grade are assessed through GOE. Absence of two difficult turns or steps is not, by itself, the ISU no-value trigger in these badge tests.
