Grade 2: 2026 badge-test tables and transition notices
Version boundary: required elements change on 1 October 2026. Free-skating requirements apply from 1 July 2026, with specific transition provisions. Earlier collected requirements elsewhere on this page must not be treated as a fully updated 2026 syllabus.
These are the required elements effective 1 October 2026. The separate free-skating requirements on page 2 apply from 1 July 2026, subject to the stated transition provisions. The free programme is not replaced by this element list.
Working English: required elements and steps from page 1

Single loop.
Single flip.
Single Lutz.
Jump combination, single + single; at least one jump must be a loop, flip or Lutz.
Backscratch spin, at least five revolutions.
Sit spin, at least five revolutions.
Set pattern: forward outside/inside three-turn steps; outside or inside is drawn.
Set pattern: forward outside/inside double-three steps; outside or inside is drawn.
Set pattern: backward three-turn and mohawk power steps to CD3 music.

Working English, not independently reviewed: the 19 July notice says badge-test step sequences at every grade are assessed through GOE. Absence of two difficult turns or steps is not, by itself, the ISU no-value trigger in these badge tests.
