How to use this

Start with a country, a beginner programme or an element. Open a level to read its collected requirements. Expand programme stages to see the exercises inside.

Try double Axel or three turn in the search box. Results show available definitions and matching evidence; not every question can be answered from the collection.

Compare programmes with similar purposes, then inspect their stages and requirements. Similar content does not mean the tests have the same difficulty or that one qualification transfers to another country.

Follow source links to check the original context. Where saved documents are available, you can read them here. Documents keep their dates; translations may be working translations rather than official wording.

This is a growing collection, not every requirement from every country. Missing results can mean missing or untranslated evidence, not that a skill is absent from a country’s programme. Read the coverage notes before drawing conclusions.

Coverage, updates and corrections

This is a growing reference, not a complete collection of every test. Material may be partial, historical or a working translation. No match does not mean a country does not teach an element.

Reference presentation updated . This is not a claim that every source was checked on that date. Individual documents retain their own dates and limitations.

Prerequisite: See source-specific prerequisites; display order is not a prerequisite rule.

Topaze: requirements

CSNPA handbook 2026/2027, 21 August 2026. Original French is preserved. An independently reviewed English technical translation is not yet available. Display order is not a statement that every earlier item is a prerequisite.

Working English

Working English reading aid for the 21 August 2026 CSNPA handbook. Not independently reviewed. Original French remains below; named movements without an established glossary remain in French. Lists preserve combinations and choices, not new equivalencies.

Adult medals may be taken in an order of the skater’s choice according to ability. The first four use a course; the last four use programmes. Musical support is possible. The source defines this adult strand as over 18, without national individual competition participation during the season. It recommends two figure-eights formed by four curves and four widthwise diagonals for the first four medals, followed by circle exercises. Jury composition is delegated to chapter 3 A5 and judging to the individual-medal rules. This reading aid does not replace those common requirements.

Topaze exercise sequence; preserve the source's separate turn choices and 3-second position.

  1. Crossover / chassé / crossed chassé forward to the left around the curve with arm movements, then forward-outside double three-turn cross rolls alternating right/left feet.
  2. Right forward-inside three-turn; crossover / chassé / chassé / backward crossover with arms, then backward-inside double three-turns alternating right/left feet.
  3. Crossover / chassé / chassé / backward crossover with arms, then backward-outside double three-turn cross rolls alternating right/left feet.
  4. Crossover / chassé / crossed chassé forward around the curve with arm movements.
  5. Turns using double threes, Mohawk, toe steps and bracket OR rocker OR counter OR loop; followed by outside/inside Ina Bauer or canadienne for 3 seconds. Pattern at choice. Read the original for the grouping of these named movements.
  6. Crouched-position spin on two feet, 3 revolutions.
  7. Half flip.
  8. Salchow.
  9. Forward T-stop, with the stopping foot in front or behind.
